School qualifications for NZ home educators
This is the framework for home educators wanting
access to school qualifications in New Zealand.
With NCEA now upon us, the rules are
very similar. Details can be found at the NZQA
website.
STUDENTS NOT IN A REGISTERED TEACHING INSTITUTION
(IN PARTICULAR, HOME SCHOOLED STUDENTS) ENTERING FOR NATIONAL SCHOOL QUALIFICATIONS
A special application form for students
wishing to enter University Bursaries examinations is available from the Examination
Services section of the Qualifications Authority. Students must make application
on the approved form by 1 March. It is necessary to have a link school agree to
act as a link school; the school must signify this agreement on the application
form.
